Llanberis is the village most associated with Snowdon, or Yr Wyddfa to give it its Welsh name.

From campsites to guesthouses and hotels, Llanberis is the perfect base to stay and explore Snowdonia. Llanberis is Snowdon’s village and the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park.

Llanberis is surrounded by mountains, lakes and rivers and we are also a short drive from the beautiful coastline. Breathtaking views are everywhere and the scenery simply stunning ! it is a great place from which to explore the magic and beauty of Snowdonia and Anglesey.
 
 
Llanberis is also an area rich in history, myths and legends and has a strong cultural heritage. Take a walk around the Slate quarries of Llanberis and you will easily take yourself back in time to imagine when this area roofed the world! or further back still, imagine when the whole valley was covered in snow and ice which shaped and carved this beautiful landscape which is your to explore.
